Course overview

This course will help those new to training to make an effective contribution to the training and development of others in a practical and systematic way. It will give trainers/participants the basic skills and knowledge needed as a foundation from which they can later develop the specialist skills of identifying training needs, design, delivery and evaluation.

Course Overview

PHAST is a participatory approach. It helps communities improve their environment and manage their water and sanitation facilities for prevention of diarrheal disease.  It is an innovative approach to promoting hygiene, prevent diarrhoeal disease and encourage community management of water and sanitation facilities. It is also a process that enables communities to define their own needs/problems and suggest and implement ways to improve their hygiene and sanitation
