Women Development
Introduction : Gender equality is also an important issue of NRCS. Women's involvement in the institution development of NRCS has been emphasized. NRCS in its Third Development Plan (1997/98-2001/2002) has identified activities to strengthen capabilities of women and to improve women's social and health status.

In the present context, the involvement of women in NRCS activities at various levels in policy making, programme implementation and operation is far from satisfactory. So NRCS has been trying to bring women into mainstream by implementing various activities focused towards increasing involvement of more women in NRCS. Besides, membership drive as a means to bring women into NRCS movement, NRCS has decided to increase women's involvement by conducting various activities such as supportive, special and co-coordinated types.

Objectives:
General Objective : To increase women membership fro better participation of women in NRCS organization, management and implementation activities.

  Specific Objective

drive.

activities of NRCS.
