Third Operation Alliance (OA) Meeting of Nepal completed today in Helsinki, Finland which was participated by the representatives of the International Federation, Finnish Red Cross, Danish Red Cross, Belgian Red Cross, Norwegian Red Cross, Swedish Red Cross, Austrian Red Cross and Nepal Red Cross.

The 19th meeting of the South Asia Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Secretary General Forum completed today. The Secretary Generals of the National Societies (NS) from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka participated in the two day meeting. The previous meeting was held in Sri Lanka during 2007.

In the changed socio-political context of Nepal, NRCS has recently accomplished its 37th General Assembly (GA) from 11 to 12 May. About 325 representatives from 71 district chapters, out of 75, and observers participated in the GA programme. It was hosted by Nuwakot district chapter with the support from the national headquarters.
